BRONTE HOUSE

A renovation of a beautiful heritage listed double front Victorian weatherboard house with a contemporary extension to the rear.
The existing dwelling had an unsympathetic 1960’s brick addition that disconnected the house
from the garden. Working with the steep sloping site, the new lightweight split level extension connects the old house with the new, opening onto a private garden oasis.
A central glazed roof floods the house with light throughout the year.
